The Teacher's Day celebration on 05/09/2024 was organized to honor and appreciate the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the lives of students. The event included a series of competitions that aimed to engage students creatively and promote their appreciation for educators. The main activities of the day were an Essay Competition and a Poetry Competition, both of which received enthusiastic participation from the students.

Bio Connect 2.0, a two-day International Conclave and Expo, was organized by Kerala Life Sciences Industries Park (KLIP) and Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) from September 27th to 28th, 2024, at The Hyatt Regency, Trivandrum. The event brought together various stakeholders from the life sciences and biotechnology industries, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and exploring future collaborations. The expo showcased innovations and advancements in the biotech sector, attracting professionals, students, and industry leaders.

Prior to the main event, a one-day orientation class was held on September 26th, during which 19 students volunteered to participate in the conclave. The delegation of students was led by Dr. Kannan V. Unnithan, who assigned them various roles for all three days of the event. Their participation was supervised by Ms. Sunitha Chandran, Senior Manager (Business Development) at Bio 360 - Kerala Life Sciences Park. Through this hands-on experience, the students were exposed to the organizational and managerial aspects of the conclave and gained valuable insights into the event's programs and objectives.

Throughout the conclave, the students had the opportunity to interact with professionals from different sectors of life sciences. They were involved in various tasks that gave them exposure to the event's management, including coordination, communication, and networking with delegates. This experiential learning provided them with a deeper understanding of the logistics and planning required to execute such large-scale international events.

The Management Department of KITTS organized an exhibition on National Space Day, held on August 23, 2024 at Residential building.The idea for this exhibition was initiated by Babu Sir, whose vision brought together the department to celebrate the wonders of space and space tourism.

The one-hour program was conducted from 2:30 to 3:30 PM and saw enthusiastic participation from the Director, Principal, and all faculty members. Their support and involvement were instrumental in making the event a success. The exhibition featured various informative displays, models, and presentations that highlighted the significance of space exploration and technological advancements.

The event aimed to inspire students and attendees to develop deeper into the field of space science and space tourism and appreciate its impact on our daily lives. It served as a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and creativity, fostering a spirit of learning and curiosity.

Overall, the exhibition was a great success, sparking interest and discussions among participants and attendees about the future of space exploration. 

Our college had the privilege of participating in the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), a four-day event held at the Samudrika convention center, Ernakulam. As a platform showcasing the diverse tourism potential of Kerala, KTM attracted industry leaders, tourism professionals, and stakeholders from across the world. In addition to gaining insights into the tourism industry, our primary goal was to promote our institution and its programmes to the broader audience.

The Kerala Piravi celebrations, organized by the Management Club, commenced with a series of creative competitions on the morning of 1st November 2024 at New Academic building.

The session included:
Drawing Competition: Themed "Paithrikam" (Heritage), where participants illustrated Kerala's rich cultural heritage through art.

Poem Writing: The theme “Bhashayum Naadum” (Language and Homeland) invited students to express their love for Kerala’s language and land.

Story Writing: With the theme "Ente Naattilekku" (To My Homeland),

The Kerala Piravi celebrations, organized by the Management Club, continued with an engaging afternoon session on 1st November 2024. The program began at 2:00 pm in the ITC Hall, featuring cultural activities that honored Kerala’s heritage. The session opened with a welcome speech by the Management Association Secretary, followed by the inauguration by Dr. Dileep M. R., Director of KITTS. Dr. B. Rajendran, Principal of KITTS, then extended Kerala Piravi wishes and led the audience in a pledge to uphold Kerala’s cultural values. Dr. Kannan V. Unnithan concluded the formal session with a vote of thanks.
