The Equal Opportunity Cell is established to oversee the effective implementation of policies and programmes for disadvantaged groups, to provide guidance and counselling with respect to academic, financial, social and other matters and to enhance the diversity within the campus. It creates an educational environment that is open to all students and faculty without discrimination on the basis of age, race, colour, national origin/ancestry, religion, sex or gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physically challenged.
