Tourism Partnership

KITTS is an institute which has pioneered the concept of promoting Tourism education through private-public sector partnership. This synergy has contributed to the development of student- industry relationship very early on in their career. The students of KITTS are exposed to various ventures initiated by the Department of Tourism. This helps them immensely in shaping their future. The theoretical know-how provided in classrooms is supplemented by the practical experience gained through unique exposure. The various events like Kerala Travel Mart, International Boat show, Nishagandhi dance festival etc., give students ample opportunity to participate, meet and communicate with the stalwarts of the industry and major players. KITTS students enjoy the unique advantage of gaining practical knowledge by working in the real time environment right from their initiation into the institute. Technology has been playing a major role in giving a new impetus to various industries and Tourism is no exception.
